Then we were summoned in for our starters. As it was we were fortunate and got to have a drink out there looking out onto the hills as the sun went down. They could easily expand the restaurant seating area into the garden on days when the owners aren't using it. The veranda area available to guests comfortable but is very small so only about three groups can sit out there at a time, despite the fact the garden its next to is huge and empty.
When we arrived the weather was absolutely stunning so we grabbed a seat on the veranda.
When the Mains arrived again outstanding great thought must of been taken to the décor as they have lovely paintings hanging everywhere witch you can buy, Later we were shown a sweets menu which also had a drink shown by each dessert that would complement the sweet ordered if you wanted to order it, The staff do not hang around or hover over you but are willing to give advice if needed all are well spoken & over polite you are treated like a V I P at no time are you rushed truly outstanding serviceįirstly all the staff were in face shields and there was ample hand sanitiser for them and guests so we felt totally at ease.
Both my wife & i were taken to the Dew Pond Restaurant by my son & his wife for my Birthday evening meal, We had never been before to be honest had never heard of the Dew Pond, When we arrived we were greeted by a car park attendant that directed my son to a car parking space the place is situated in stunning landscape views all-round, When we entered we all were greeted & welcomed asked to clean our hands & sign in giving details for the government track & trace then shown to our table, Im disabled find walking very hard but this was a special evening i walked with 2 walking sticks i found only 1 very small obstacle the main door has a 2 / 3" step into the restaurant with help from my son i achieved it safely, Service is really good we were sat few mints allowed to settle before a drinks order was taken then given a sheet of paper showing starters & mains everything was explain we were asked if anyone had diet restrictions or alleges, Allowed to study the menu the drinks arrived & we all ordered our starters & mains, When the food arrived we all were greeted by an outstanding display not only did the food taste great but great effort taken to displayed the food on the plates.
