So I connected the 70D to a Windows PC like I normally do and turned on the camera. However, this was only the second time I had to update the lens profiles on a 70D. This is something I have done several times with several different Canon DSLRs over the years. To do this, you connect the camera to a computer with a USB cable and use the Canon EOS Utility software. I needed to update the lens aberration correction profiles on a Canon EOS 70D.
