I haven't fired it yet so pattern pictures are to follow after the weekend. Tapped and mounted the rail on top of the receiver He's also the only one I could find who has the license to hydrodip Optifade patterns. His shop does all the Benelli Performance Shop work.

It was there for quite sometime (four months) but they were working through a rebuild after a fire. The gun started out all black but I sent it to Rob Roberts Custom Gun Works in Batesville AR. I come from a military background so that might explain the tactical components.

I picked up a Benelli M2 Field with a 21 in barrel on Gunbroker and started with that.

The Benelli Supernova is a great shotgun but it is HEAVY! So last March I had the idea of building a lightweight shotgun that would be smaller and lighter. MSRPs for the Performance Shop M2 Turkey Edition shotguns are $3,399 (12 gauge) and $2,599 (20 gauge). All winter I felt like I was fighting my shotgun as I was snowshoeing into my stands and on the trail. Both models are equipped with a lengthened forcing cone, one custom XFT extended choke and five Benelli chokes (C, IC, M, IM, F). The 20-gauge version comes with a ComforTech field stock with stock, receiver and barrel finished in Realtree APG. The 12-gauge model is equipped with a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish and comes with both a ComforTech field stock and SteadyGrip stock patterned in Mossy Oak Bottomlands. Each shotgun comes with a computer printout to show actual points of impact in 10-, 20- and 30-inch circles. Available in both 12- and 20-gauge configurations, each with 24-inch EDM Ported Crio barrels, M2 Turkey Edition shotguns come paired with a Burris FastFire II sight, which is pattern tested with Federal Premium Ammunition. The new Benelli Performance Shop M2 Turkey Edition shotguns represent the ultimate turkey-hunting setup with Performance Shop enhancements by Rob Roberts, world renowned for shot-pattern development.
